The Merengue, the national dance of the Dominican Republic, is a fun, festive and very popular Latin Dance. Merengue tempos are medium to very fast, and the dance is characterized by fancy turns and a marching basic step with the use of Latin motion. Merengue is a great dance to develop rhythm, animation and flair. Merengue is fun, energetic, sexy and flirtatious.
